Nichole Nordeman is a Christian recording artist and songwriter with numerous number-one and top ten singles to her credit and cumulative CD sales of over one million. A two-time Gospel Music Association winner for Female Vocalist of the Year, she has won a total of nine Dove Awards. She lives with her family in Oklahoma.

It has been awhile since I have listened to review a CD. I don’t take on too much music but when this artist popped up in my email, I just knew she would speak to me. Boy, did this music sit well with my soul.
I found myself in moments thinking about how my daughter has grown up and the time has flown by with the song Slow Down. It was like the perfect song that was just wow. It is too fast, and it was right that in one moment they do want to fly. I feel like I watch my daughter want to soar daily.
Though that is the song that misted my eyes, the entire CD is car trip, workout, and just at home worthy listening. So pretty much anywhere you listen to music. It will move you, connect you closer to God and give you a sense of peace. I know that I have spent days listening and will continue to listen.
I am excited to also mention (because I am so wanting to read this!!) that Nichole has a book called Slow Down coming out, you can find out more here! If it is anything like the song, it will leave a lasting impression on its readers. I hope that each of you take the time to pursue listening to this CD and check out her other work.
