When it comes to a heart warming book about the season of Thanksgiving look no further than this collection. Each story is heartwarming, charming and well written. And the recipes are an added bonus! I was beyond excited about the Pumpkin and Pear Soup, provided by Jennifer Snow. It is carrying over into the holiday season for me.

I feel as though the Thanksgiving holiday gets pushed aside sometimes in the book world. The season is used little, and not always even a focus. When the opportunity came to read a collection of romantic stories set around the time, I was excited! This was what I was looking for and I wasn’t disappointed. Each story held an element from the holiday, and provided the reader with a warmth to their soul about the season. I couldn’t even begin to pick a favorite story, they are all so well written and beyond my expectations for a collection.  I would say though that Thankful for You by Karen Rock stuck out to me and was the story I gravitated to when re-reading the collection. But that is because I personally enjoyed the quick suspense.

No story shall be rated under 5 stars, and if I could the entire book would receive 78 stars, that is six stars a piece! Truly, this was the bright spot in the season for this reader, and a collection I plan to return to every November!
