Book Summary
In the new Bay Island Psychic Mystery, psychic Cass Donovan is thrown into the middle of a macabre murder she never saw coming . . .
With the summer tourist season on Bay Island in full swing, shop owner Cass Donovan barely has a minute to breathe, and things at Mystical Musings become even more hectic when a fight breaks out at one of her psychic readings. Shaken by the fracas and discouraged that her sixth sense seems to be on the blink, Cass is even more dispirited to learn that one of the men involved in the altercation was later found dead—and that a close friend of hers is the main suspect.
Desperate to help her friend prove his innocence and consumed by haunting visions, Cass follows the clues from one possible culprit to the next, including some very mysterious tourists and not a few questionable locals. And when the police turn to Cass to help them find out who committed the ghoulish deed, she knows she’ll have to tread carefully, because her next grim premonition may be her last . . .
Lena lives in a small town on the south shore of eastern Long Island with her husband and three children.
When she was growing up, she spent many lazy afternoons on the beach, in the yard, anywhere she could find to curl up with a good book. She loves reading as much now as she did then, but she now enjoys the added pleasure of creating her own stories.

Book Review by Bree Herron
I am beyond giddy to be reading the latest Bay Island Psychic Mystery, this has become one of my favorites series to read and I am thrilled to be reunited with the characters, especially Bee. Because who doesn’t love Bee?
Characters
I have been solving mysteries with Cass, Bee, and crew now for four books and I swear they all become closer friends to me in each book. I really loved Bee in this book (yes, I have probably said that before) loving and true friend- Bee has your back.
Cass has grown into a fabulous character, she is strong and smart. She has a knack for getting into the good mysteries and solving them with a flair. I could easily dive into six more or let’s be real- an unlimited amount of mysteries if Cass and gang are solving them.
Enjoyable Moments
The level of intensity within this mystery was epic. It was strong and intense in the emotions, characters, and setting. I could feel the heat of the day and arguments come off the pages while reading this book and it kept me sucked into the last page.
Setting
A part of the setting was the tempeture of the heat of the season. It was hot, and as someone who gets a bit grumpy when I am hot, I could relate to the irritable characters and angry moments. But I have found Bay Island to be consistantly enjoyable and a place I welcome a visit to.
Synoptic
Another amazing from the great Lena Gregory, this book was perfectly mysterious mixed with a great dose of wonderful characters. I was charmed and thrilled with the mystery that was woven into the story and that Cass is still standing strong in the end. It was a book that kept me on the edge of my seat.
