*You’ll focus on women of the Bible whose live reflect the fruit.
*In spite of everyday messiness and challenges of life, Cinnamah-Brosia and her friends (you’ll meet them on the pages of this book, too) courageously use these essences to season the world around them with an overflowing measure of Jesus.
*You’ll find fun facts about the spices and essential oils along with ways for you to enjoy incorporating reminders of the fruit they represent into your life.
Grab a cup of coffee, along with some friends, and come find courage to face life with gusto.
Lynn Watson combines many years’ experience in women’s ministry, love of essential oils, and her passion for God’s word to bring her readers freshly inspired encouragement for their walk with Jesus. Her devotional, The Essence of Courage, was recognized as a ‘must read’ by regional publishing industry leaders. Married since 1973, Lynn and Steve have filled their Bartlett, Tennessee home with handmade treasures and lots of love for family, especially their five beautiful (of course) grandchildren. Aromas of freshly baked bread often fill Lynn’s kitchen. Jasmine, her tuxedo kitty, enjoys sleeping in Lynn’s lap while she writes.
Book Review by Bree Herron
I really like how the author weaves tales into the history of oils, and their uses. This was a devotional style book and I really enjoyed the characters and setting within these messages. Miss Dot’s Cafe sounds like the place to be and I would certainly be found there reading a good book and making new friends.
The author tied this pretty package up to deliver readers to be closer to God. It was a joy to read this collection. I really feel like I walked away knowing more and wanting to do more with oils and my faith.
