Book Review by Bree Herron
Having a little one at home makes this mom always on the hunt for a great children’s book. When it comes to sharing my faith, and God with her I know that there isn’t a better children’s bible than this one. I was beyond excited to see the updated version and to share it with V.
Boy, did she love the “Big Fish”story, and just sitting with the book for hours. That is what a book should do, no matter the content. It should grab a reader for hours. Even if it is just looking at the pictures, she was making up stories to go with them and deciphering what the pictures were telling her.
A Bible can be hard to sell to a child, many times the stories seem over their level of understanding, not with this one. Each story is condensed, shared in understandable wording and given illustrations that make my child at heart swoon. I know that if you are looking to start sharing the bible with your children this is a great one to start with.
