Author Spotlight—Carrie Fancett Pagels
If you haven’t been able to tell, I adore this lovely author. From her books down to her persoanlity and faith. Carrie is a bright ray of sunshine in her readers’ lives and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Today we are honoring her latest release with the Seven Brides for Seven Mail-Order Husbands collection. Doesn’t this just grab your attention? Now picture this- a town needing men. The men folk had gone off to fight the great war between the states, leaving the town in capable female hands. And Turtle Springs was in great hands, until the women were seeking life long partners and families. Now they need good men. Okay, now you are a bit curious, admit. Trust me this collection is laugh out funny and you will get to read Carrie’s brilliant story in the collection, along with many more. As my thank you to Carrie for always being willing to be on the blog, I am offering an e-book copy of the book as a giveaway!

I thought I had commented but I don’t see it. Seven Brides for Seven Mail Order Husbands sounds like an unusual idea. I like books that make me laugh.
Hi Brenda! I think this was a great idea. I don’t know how many of the stories have a humorous element but I got to read several and they were really good!
Loved this! We just found out recently that one of our daughter-in-law’s great grandmother was a mail-order bride! Unfortunately the great grandmother was so embarrassed about it that she wouldn’t talk very much about it. She only moved from Austin to Wichita Falls when she became the mail-order bride. I think it’s fascinating!
That is super cool Becky! Do you know her story? Blessings!
