Book Review by Bree Herron

Sometimes the action takes Kat above the stairs and solving more of a mystery than the first one. I really have enjoyed Kat and the culture she lives in. I have often felt as though being a millennial wasn’t the decade I was meant to be a part of. The mystery in this book is just as polished as the first one, and if anything more engaging.

Setting

One thing is for sure the author nails the decade and period drama. I love the feeling that as a reader I could have the best of both worlds. Learning the ins and outs of the down stairs and being fancy with the upstairs.

Synoptic

Overall, another success and possibly the best thus far. I really love what readers have been given so far with Kat and this series. It is a delight to travel back in time and solve some crime.

Upstairs may be fun to visit, but give me the downstairs any time for a permanent basis. 🙂 I think I am more down to earth than putting on airs.
