Book Summary
It’s been eighteen years since TV crime reporter Andi Hollister’s sister was murdered. The confessed killer is behind bars, and the execution date is looming. But when a letter surfaces stating that the condemned killer didn’t actually do it, Detective Will Kincaide of the Memphis Cold Case Unit will stop at nothing to help Andi get to the bottom of it. After all, this case is personal: the person who confessed to the crime is Will’s cousin. They have less than a week to find the real killer before the wrong person is executed. But much can be accomplished in that week–including uncovering police corruption, running for your life, and falling in love.
With the perfect mixture of intrigue and nail-biting suspense, award-winning author Patricia Bradley invites her readers to crack the case–if they can–alongside the best Memphis has to offer.

Book Review by Bree Herron
Who is in need of a fast paced, suspense- filled and just plain great book to read? Oh, you are? Great, then Justice Delayed is perfect for you.
I was drawn in with the prologue leading me to the present day. Then I was kept in thralled with this book because the level of suspense was so good! I haven’t read a novel this great in a long time. It was an addicting read, a read that made you want to savor each page, but yet also not want to put it down. I raced to the end, eager to see where the ending would lead. It was a great ending to this book. I have to be the first to say that I felt like I was in a bond, or criminal minds set book. No, there isn’t a Spencer Reed or a division but just the level of intrigue and mystery made me need a bowl of popcorn and glass of wine while reading the last few pages.
I was in need of reading this book and I didn’t even know it. The overall effect of this book is one that you will instantly begin and hate to end. Twists and turns take you down a mysterious lane and events that lead you to truth being revealed in an way that even this sleuth reader couldn’t see.
Are you a suspense fan? What draws you to reading them?
