This week's line is:

“I was walking three powerful rottweilers, but I was pretty sure they weren’t really to blame for my being pulled down the street like a drunken water-skier behind an erratic boat.”

Now envision this first line in your mind, gotcha smiling didn’t it? Well, I certainly enjoyed reading this book and you can find my thoughts here.

I bet there’s a great interview with the author here. Between the humor, the mystery, and that clever title, there’s got to be a great behind-the-scenes story there.

I just got done reading this book last night. It is a clean book other than some mild violence and idol worship – which was typical back than) full of adventure, action, and romance set in the bronze age of the Middle East. Religious undertones pertaining to the offspring of Ishmael. This is the second book in the series. I gave it 5 stars.

Banished by Little, Kimberley Griffiths (the first book is entitled -Forbidden)

“A dirty, callused hand slapped down over my mouth and the stale breath of a man hissed in my ear.”
